W12 Series CNC Hydraulic 4-Roller Bending Machine
The RAXMEK W12 series represents the peak of modern plate rolling technology, offering unmatched speed and accuracy. In a 4-roller configuration, the top roll is in a fixed position, and the bottom roll rises hydraulically to pinch the plate securely. The two lateral rolls then move independently on linear or planetary paths to perform the bending.
The Double Pre-Bending Advantage
Unlike 3-roller machines where the plate must be removed and flipped to pre-bend both ends, the 4-roller system clamps the plate at all times. The operator feeds the plate, pre-bends the leading edge, rolls the cylinder, and pre-bends the trailing edge—all in a single continuous cycle, saving up to 60% in cycle time.
Highly Rigid Welded Frame
The heavy-duty chassis is fabricated from Q345B steel plate, thermal stress-relieved to prevent deformation. Massive hydraulic cylinders are integrated directly into the frame sides to provide high force and precise positioning for the bending rollers.

Planetary Guide System (PGS) for Lateral Rolls
High-Rigidity Curved Geometry Bending
RAXMEK 4-roller machines utilize a Planetary Guide System (PGS) to guide the lateral bending rollers. The side rolls are mounted on heavy-duty pivoting arms, moving along a curved path toward the center of the machine.
Advantages Over Linear Guides
By moving on a curved arc, the lateral rollers get closer to the clamping point of the top and bottom rolls. This minimizes the length of the flat end during pre-bending, resulting in a tighter, more precise bend right at the edge of the plate.
Zero-Friction and Low Maintenance
The pivoting arm design eliminates the sliding friction and wear associated with traditional linear guides. The system requires minimal lubrication and is highly resistant to scale, dust, and debris generated during rolling.
Proportional Hydraulic Synchronization & Drive
Double-Hydraulic Motor Top & Bottom Drive
To prevent plate slippage and ensure smooth material feeding, both the top and bottom rollers are driven by independent hydraulic motors coupled to planetary gear reducers. The hydraulic drive system automatically adjusts speed to match the plate thickness and bending resistance.
Bosch Rexroth Proportional Valves
The vertical and tilting movements of the bottom and lateral rollers are driven by high-pressure hydraulic cylinders. We use Bosch Rexroth proportional valves controlled by the CNC to ensure that both sides of the rollers remain perfectly synchronized within ±0.1 mm.
Hydraulic Drop-End Housing
The drop-end bearing housing is operated by a dedicated hydraulic cylinder. When a rolling cycle is completed, the drop-end tilts down automatically under CNC control. The top roller is balanced by an integrated rear hydraulic cylinder, allowing the operator to extract the finished cylinder safely.
Graphical CNC Automation & CAD/CAM Integration
Multi-Axis Graphical CNC System
The W12 series is equipped with a premium graphical touch-screen CNC (such as ESA S640 or Beckhoff). The controller allows the operator to program the bending sequence by simply entering the plate thickness, width, material type, and target diameter.
Automatic Program Generation
The CNC automatically calculates the required positions of the bottom and lateral rollers, determines the feeding steps, and generates the complete rolling program. This eliminates manual trial-and-error, reducing setup times and material waste.
Complex Geometry Bending
With full multi-axis control, the machine can roll complex shapes including ovals, ellipses, rounded rectangles, and multi-radius curves in a single automatic cycle. The system also supports CAD/CAM DXF file importing for direct programming.
